Today's receipe Stuffed Bitter Gourd!!!



Step 1:

Ingredients:

Bitter gourd - 1/2 kg
Salt

Preparation:

1. Take a medium size bitter gourd cut the top and bottom of it, make a slit on the center and remove the seeds.

2. Rub the Bitter gourd with some salt, if you like to peel the skin it's optional.

3. Rub the salt nicely outer and inner it, so that it will reduce the bitterness to some extent, let it for twenty minutes.

Step 2:

To make Ground Masala powder

Ingredients:

Coriander seeds - 1tbsp
Cumin seeds - 1tbsp
Funnel seeds - 1tbsp
Kalonji seeds - 1/2 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tbsp
Amchur powder - 1tbsp
Chilli powder - 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
Asafoetida powder - 1/2 tbsp

Preparation:

1. Heat the pan add Coriander seeds, Cumin seeds, Funnel seeds, kalonji seeds, Fenugreek seeds and dry roast the ingredients for two to three minutes to get nice aroma.

2. Take the dry roasted ingredient and cool it completely, transfer it to the mixer jar.

3. Add Amchur powder, Chilli powder, turmeric powder and Asafoetida powder grind to a fine powder.


Step 3:

To make Filling

Ingredients:

Mustard oil - 1 tbsp
Onions - 2 nos
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Ground masala powder - 3 tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Sugar - 1tsp


Preparation:

1. Heat the mustard oil in the pan, add two finely chopped onions and fry it until it's get golden brown, to this add half tbsp of Ginger garlic paste.

2. Add three tap of ground masala powder, half tbsp salt, and one tbsp sugar it is just to balance the flavor.

Step 4:


1. After twenty minutes take the Bitter gourd,  rinse it for two to three times.

2. Take the little bit of filling, dip inside the Bitter gourd.

3. Tie the Bitter gourd with a small string not openup when frying.

4. Heat the two tbsp of mustard oil in the pan, then place all the Bitter gourd, keep the flame low and roast it well.

5. After roasting the Bitter gourd, sprinkle the
Ground masala powder and some salt.

6. Quickly mix it well for two minutes, now remove the pan from stove and cool it for a while then cut the string.

Now Stuffed Bitter Gourd is Ready to Serve!!!
