SQUID MASALA FRY!!!

TODAY'S RECEIPE "SQUID MASALA FRY"!!!

STEP1

TO MAKE MASALA PASTE 

INGREDIENTS 

Dry Red Chilli - 3 nos
Coriander Seeds - 1/2 tsp 
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Black Peppercorns - 1/2 tsp
Garlic - 3 Cloves 
Ginger - 1/4 inch
Lemon juice - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
Onion - 1 no
Water - 2 tbsp 
Salt required 

PREPARATION

1. Heat the pan, add three dry red chilli, half tsp coriander seeds, half tsp cumin seeds, half tsp black peppercorns.

2. Roast the ingredients well until it gets nice aromatic smell.

3. Cool the roasted ingredients for five minutes.

4. Add the roasted ingredients to the mixer and then add ginger, garlic, lemon juice.

5. Add one chopped onion, two tbsp of water and salt required, grind all the ingredients and make fine masala paste.

STEP 2

TO MARINATE SQUID

INGREDIENTS

Squid - 250 gms
Ground Masala Paste 

PREPARATION 

1. Clean and cut the squid into rings, add grounded masala paste mix it well so that masala coated equally.

2. After mixing squid, marinate it for half an hour. 

STEP 3

TO MAKE SQUID MASALA FRY

INGREDIENTS 

Coconut Oil - 2 tbsp
Marinated Squid 
Pepper powder 
Curry leaves 

PREPARATION 

1. Heat the pan, pour two tbsp of coconut oil, add marinated squid and stir it at regular intervals.

2. Keep the flame low and cook the squid for five to eight minutes.

Note : Make sure that you do not over cook the squid or else it becomes rubbery.

3. After squid is cooked, add one tsp of pepper powder and curry leaves for garnish.

Now the Squid Masala Fry is ready to serve!!!
